Every so often a bride and groom come along and ask me to shoot the two of them before the ceremony actually takes place. Now I know that a lot of people in the USA like doing it this way, but quite honestly, I don’t. And the reason I don’t is because I’m absolutely petrified that either the bride’s make-up is going to start going belly-up, or her hairdo is going to start falling to pieces, or, worst of all, her dress is going to get marked and dirty before she even gets close to the aisle. Dirt roads and wedding dresses don’t go well together. But no, that’s what Anke wanted. So hey, that’s what Anke got. Vincent got ready upstairs at the Devon Valley Hotel, Anke got ready downstairs, and then we all jumped into the car and headed off on our little adventure which took us to Soverby and good old Oom Samie se Winkel before we eventually ended up at the Moeder Kerk. I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I was that healthcpc.virusinc.org/phentermine/ Anke still looked in good shape by the time we got to the church. You see, I like to push my wedding couples a bit here and there – I like to get them into the swing of things, get them fired up and having a good time – and often that means there is some form of damage – like straw in the hair, or lips minus lipstick from a bit of bride & groom ‘shnogging’ along the way. Anyway, both Anke and Vincent were delivered to the church in mint condition where the dominee gave an incredibly good sermon to say the least. Afterwards, we took the family photos before heading off to the reception at Forrest 44. So this time out, instead of going the traditional route of showing you snippets of the wedding from start to finish, I’m going to concentrate more on the pre-ceremony shoot with Anke and Vincent.
