I’m often asked how I deal with family and friends who have a bit of an aversion to being photographed. To be quite honest, I don’t think about it much. I try and have fun with the bridal party and guests. If I get that right, the photographs really just fall into place seamlessly. Take Bob and Lauren’s wedding as an example. They jetted in from Melbourne for a small and personal wedding at the beautiful Mountain Shadows on the outskirts of Paarl. Lauren had this amazing personality – full of fun and laughter and one of the most expressive faces I’ve come across in a long time. Bob epitomized ‘calm’, and came across as the all-round ‘good guy.’ They surrounded themselves with good family and friends – the way it should be. Even so, in and amongst the mix were one or two people who weren’t that keen on having their photographs taken (photography isn’t for everyone you know!) See if you can spot them. 50 bucks says you won’t! They were having too much fun!

Here’s a short music video with some more photographs from Bob and Lauren’s wedding if you’d like to take a look!

Wow warren, would just like to say thank you as we weren’t able to be at Bob and La’s wedding, but very much feel we were due to your amazing pictures. Truly breath-taking and such fun to look at .
These photos are brilliant, helped by the gorgeous bride and groom of course! You were a great photographer, really funny and made everyone relax and enjoy the photo time.
