My oath. I always say to my couples: ‘Guys, I can ask you to do something, then it’s up to you. You can go for it, or you can stare at me blankly and we can all go for a milkshake.’ So there I was this morning (family in tow) for Shane and Kathy’s engagement shoot. Kathy had warned me that she’s a bit shy in front of the camera. Jaaaa, right! These guys took to the beach like seriously seasoned beach-bums. I shot their engagement shoot in 28 minutes and 14 seconds flat. I kid you not. It was a bit like the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. They were just awesome, awesome, awesome. I can’t wait for their wedding which is coming up next month. If the engagement shoot is anything to go by then it’s time to buckle up and hold tight! We shot down in Blouberg with 1 x shipwreck , 1 x rather beautiful mountain and 1 x flat sea as our background. Kathy is pretty keen to do a Trash the Dress shoot after the wedding. Watch this space, it’s going to be mind-boggling.
Absolutely STUNNING. I can’t wait for the wedding.

I have to congratulate u Warren, the photo’s are magnificent, well your hole collection actually. I love the textures of the sand & their jeans, and the backdrop of mountain & the beach makes it even more romantic. A big thumbs up for making Kathy jump out of her shell ( i guess there is a playful side to her that we don’t know about, or maybe Shane brings it out in her) and for making her smile. Can’t wait to see what you can get out of them on the wedding day….i am sure it won’t be a ‘let’s go for a milkshake day’!
