Paul and Victoria decided to fly in from Australia during perhaps one of the hottest weeks in Cape Town since Jan van Riebeeck landed here back in the day bless his heart. I met them for the first time down at Llundudno as we battled a somewhat grumpy Cape South-Easter to get their engagement shoot in the bag. There was sand everywhere, there was spray everywhere, the tide was pushing in and yup, the water was very cold (as Vic was going to find out). There seems to be a bit of a trend amongst my brides who seem hell-bent on wanting to make closer contact with cold water than what is perhaps necessary. Okay sure, maybe I should keep them away from the waves, but I don’t. And they could always say ‘no chance mate.’ But they don’t. So they get wet. Job done. Here’s their engagement shoot…
