I’d love to know why it is that everytime I have an engagement to shoot on the beach, the Cape South-Easter decides to serve up something special (and then bring with it the kind of cold that is more associated with the South Pole). I need to keep my couples motivated, interested and inspired – not be handing out space blanklets and hot chocolate. Not that it seemed to bother CJ and Elizmare who were one of the winners in my engagement shoot competition. They were quite happy to go for it as I got them running, jumping, leap-frogging and generally doing anything that would entertain me and take my mind off the wind and the cold. I should have given them a hundred bucks and said: ‘thanks for the show’ at the end of it all. It was an hour well-spent though, and 3 days later, there still seem to be grains of sand falling out from behind my ears. Thanks guys, great shoot!
