It’s not exactly a secret that every couple I’ve ever shot hold a somewhat special place in the notebook of my mind (how’s that for a bit of poetry in motion?) And James and Liesl are no exception. I shot their wedding (which you’ll find here), then we did a boudoir shoot, and finally a Trash the Dress. I suppose next up I’m going to get that ‘we’re pregnant’ call – but one step at a time, we don’t want to put James under any undue pressure here. For their TTD we headed back up the coast to Betty’s Bay where they were married. We wandered through the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens where we were going to shoot Liesl in the water alongside the waterfall. But when we got there – small technical problem – a fence, complete with gate and padlock had been erected near the waterfall to keep types like us out. A bit disappointing really, but we we made the best fist of it and did our thing to the great interest of some German tourists who were doing a lot of ‘congratulationing’ to our amusement. James and Liesltjie, love you guys!

Once again, a splendid job Warren! What awesome memories you have created for us. We have empty frames ready to be filled for our walls now.
Fill them boy, fill them!
