Not only are they professional and really likeable, but they also have a fantastic creativity and flair about them. Then perhaps some of the best advice I’ll ever give you is to go and meet the wonderful, pint-sized, Robyn Roberts. Robyn isn’t good, she’s a very, very good wedding dress designer. I learnt helluva quickly that Robyn has an outstanding eye for what works and what doesn’t. If you have an idea of what you want, I’ll bet you anything that Robyn will take your idea and then enhance it like you never thought possible. The very first time I worked with Gabriel Shai, I thought to myself: ‘hey this guy plays some pretty good music.’ The wedding was rocking! The guests were absolutely partying flat out! Old, young, everyone. Even I was giving it a bit of a boogie as I took the photos. About an hour later as Gabriel was shaking it up on the dance floor did I realise he had a headset on and that he was singing into it. I was gobsmacked. I became an instant fan. I always will be. What he does, he does exceptionally brilliantly. Man, if I could change jobs, I’d do what he does (probably better, because I have a really good singing voice actually). But let’s not take the focus of Gabriel shall we? His playlist is well thought-through and the guy can get a party started (and keep it going like no other).
