I’m not normally all that short on words when it comes to writing. But I have to tell you, Bo and Craig’s wedding leaves me unsure of where to start, so let’s start at the beginning shall we. Firstly there was Bo, gorgeous Bo. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride smile as much and I’m not sure I ever will again. Then there was Craig ‘Lordy’ Lorden. Helen said to me after the speeches ‘wow, he’s a great guy, these people obviously love him a lot.’ And they should, because he’s a bloody good guy. Garron, the Bestman floored the entire reception at La Vierge with his speech which was quite brilliant and one of the best I’ve ever heard. Heh, heh, and then there was good old Robbie Fleck. ‘Fleckie’ could have been a bloody good comedian had he not picked up a rugby ball – he’s that funny. I was also flabbergasted by two other things. Firstly, how can one couple know so many good-looking people – it’s ridiculous. And secondly, judging by the amount of pregnancies, most of them have had a fairly active winter season. We had a lot of humour shooting the formal photographs and Bo, high heels and all, negotiated some seriously tricky rocks and cliffs along the Hermanus shoreline. As Craig said to me while we were scrambling across some fairly rough terrain as the water crashed around us: ‘My chick is hardcore man!’ So there you have it. A cracker of a wedding – the kind I really enjoy, where everyone gets stuck in and celebrates in fine style. Finally, let it be officially noted that the dancing award at this wedding went to the men, hands down. Look, the girls tried and they certainly looked much nicer, but these boys can rock! I really wasn’t sure which photographs to put up on the site, but eventually I decided to steer away from the preparation, wedding dress and ceremony photos for once to give you something a little different. I hope you enjoy the photographs.

Uncle Warrie, tiptop pics. Especially Robbie Fleck and the yellow hat…
Warren, I cannot thank you enough for the absolutely gorgeous pictures. I am so grateful you were able to capture the moments with our friends and family so beautifully. You have given us the greatest gift we could ever have asked for. Will let you know when the kids arrive for their photo shoot – heh heh. The Lords!
