Chris and Vanessa, Webersburg. Funny thing life, you never quite know what’s going to happen next. Then you’re up, then you’re down, then you’re this way, then you’re that way. I don’t actually know what’s going to happen in the next hour, let alone tomorrow or next week. And isn’t it just full of surprises? I’ll give you an example. There was this young make-up artist at Chris and Vanessa’s wedding. Gillian I think her name was. Quite a cutie actually. Nice personality, flipping good sense of humour. Good dress sense too. Quality stuff. I was impresssed. Well heck, if I hadn’t been impressed she certainly would have known about because Gillian is my daughter. Or at least she was the last time I looked. Now back to the funny thing about life. Gillian met Vanessa not a week before her wedding, but probably, I don’t know, 15 years ago maybe. Gilli would have been around 6 or 7 years old I reckon. And the next thing, BOOM, she’s doing Vanessa’s make-up at her wedding. I mean who would have thought? Take your eye off the ball for just a moment and time rushes past you like there’s no tomorrow. So Chris and Nessie, there’s a big, big lesson in that. Whatever you do and wherever you go, live every single day with all the love and joy that you can muster, because before you know it, your kids are going to be asking you for the car keys, or worse still, for a bottle of your prized red wine.
