I’ve noticed on a few occasions that people like to give the West Coast a bit of stick. ‘It’s boring,’ or ‘there’s nothing there,’ or ‘it’s dry with lots of rocks,’ are a few of the comments I’ve heard. And the number one chirp of course is simply: it blows there.’ Oh okay, if you say so. Yes it does blow. But so does the rest of Cape Town. Did you know that Langebaan for instance is the 27th windiest place in South Africa – behind Hermanus. Aha! You didn’t. But now you do. Anyway, the reason I’m telling you all of this is because Candice and Adrian flew down from Jo’burg for a few days in Cape Town and I suggested they pop up the West Coast for their engagement shoot. They agreed. I was so chuffed I threw in a skottel with scrambled egg rolls and took my family along to the engagement shoot as well. We had a darned fine time running up and down the beach, exploring between the rocks and just generally shooting the breeze. Here are a few of their photos.
Wow, wow, wow!!! Mr Williams, you are an absolute genius! What amazing pics, you legend!!! A very big thank you.
Pleasure Candice. I was trying to give you a bit of a tease on my Facebook fan page but you weren’t responding to the taunts, so in the end I just relinquished the battle and put them up. Now for the wedding hey girl…
